I don't think this did enough to elaborate on the already familiar concept of the banality of evil. Perhaps it would have been more impactful as a short film.

Visually stunning period piece representing Russia during the October Revolution. Omar Sharif is a charming antihero as Doctor Zhivago. Really out of pocket at times, cheating on his wife and abandoning his family in favor of his dying social order, but also relatable - who doesn't just want to live in a fancy ice palace and write poems all day.

Loved the animal animations! The ideas in this film weren't very original, but I'm not sure they were meant to be. It did a good job of capturing the kinds of things college students think about as they come of age. I enjoyed getting lost in their world.
