Basically unwatchable. Looks bad, script is bad, performances are lifeless. Seems like they were trying to pivot it into a kids film franchise and they did so very badly.

Beverly Hills Cop II 1987
The cinematography is great and the costuming is so good. The cameos overwhelm the film a bit and either do nothing or actively detract from the film. It does kind of make it even more of an 80s artefact though. The skits are worse than the first one and rely on gag setups far more

Unintentional comedy masterpiece. I'm also fairly sure this and its predecessor Prometheus exist as an elaborate scheme just to get the audience to the point where a scene in which Michael Fassbender kisses himself is narratively justifiable.
