Sequels are all the rage in Hollywood these days. We could also say that about the past. Particularly the 70’s when they first became a thing. But sequels back then were rarely good. And some of them were cursed to follow a classic. Case in point: Exorcist 2: The Heretic, sequel to The Exorcist. I’ve seen some bad films, but this specific film was downright awful and is a perfect example on how to butcher a classic.
