this is pretty universally hated because of the freddy iteration, but honestly i always thought freddy was a pedophile anyway, like the "im your boyfriend now" line was directly from the og movie. i think this freddy is way scarier in concept than the original, but obviously i wish they kept robert england and the original look

can we retire the rural mutant cannibal family trope? its overdone at best and horribly classist at worst
while we're at it can we also stop showing sexual assault on screen for like 6 minutes nobody wants to see that and it is not required to make a movie scary
as a film its fine with good direction, location, acting, that kinda stuff, felt worried they were gonna execute a baby but thats just babies for ya.
