Lady Bird 2017
Gerwig did a fantastic job at capturing the zeitgeist of the early 2000s. I appreciated the rawness of this film, yet I kept searching for a component that would make it stand out from other coming-of-age films (e.g., I think Call Me By Your Name does this so well) and never felt satisfied in that capacity.
