this movie left me feeling like i got hit with a freight train. gutwrenching. please continue giving zac efron good scripts.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning 2023
When this came out, for whatever reason I was busy and couldn't go with my dad to see it. He showed me them as a kid along with Bond and Bourne and I have loved every entry.
I will forever kick myself that I didn't go with him to see this.
Absolutely bangs. Not as good as Fallout but a wildly entertaining ride. Only gripe is the two, incredibly weird uses of the word awesome to describe military grade surveillance and artificial intelligence.
Can't wait for May. Might do a marathon now.

How people dislike this movie is beyond me.
Remember watching it years ago in theatres, enjoying it but will shamelessly admit my opinion was altered by everyone else's reviews.
Upon a rewatch - it's such a thrill. Gory and horrifying action, some of my favourite kills in the entire franchise and Fassbender is so unbelievably good. Still not the biggest fan of Prometheus (again, sadly) but this film does a great job at following up on it and returning to more of what the franchise does best.
Praying for a close off for this trilogy.
