Hamilton 2020
A hero’s story. The rise and fall of Hamilton was a surprisingly good watch considering it is all sung or rapped, and there is no dialogue of the traditional sense. And yet, Hamilton perfectly finds the balance between being a musical and telling a carefully woven story. From the different ways it portrays love to the dramatic rise and fall of our protagonist, hamilton does not do anything new with its story. Considering it is a musical on a stage though, it does not need to and despite that, it brings to life these unoriginal concepts in an original and well done way.

What a film this is! A film about obsession and the negative effects that it can have on someone, on us…
Unlike films like Oppenheimer or the Wind Rises which praise dedication to one’s art and skillset, this is a critique. What this film does so well though is it takes us on that ride too. We become obsessed, convinced of who the zodiac must be despite it all being circumstantial and based off unreliable memories!
