  I was too young to fully appreciate this film the first two times I watched it. But while watching it for a third time recently I realised how much of a change it was for the Bond series. A needed change that has not been lived up to since.

  This film is very much of it’s time but I think that is why it is so good. It’s ludicrous, hilarious and charming and impressively - considering the subject matter of the film - is very rarely actually cringe-inducing. There’s nothing special in the concept, but the execution is so great. Crucially, the characters are brilliantly written and portrayed - the best is of course Jim’s Dad, without question. 

  Despite it being unapologetically a comedy, there are some really heartwarming…

  Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith 2005

  My favourite Star Wars film. It definitely has faults but because of pure nostalgia I don’t care about them. It’s over the top, sure, but I love that. Is Anakin’s actual fall to the dark side, which the whole film is centred around, a bit nonsensical? Yeah, probably. But I think it just about works. The opening 20 minutes might just be the finest Star Wars sequence ever. The final confrontation between Anakin and Obi-Wan is amazing and heartbreaking and…
