Simply an all-timer. Every line from Pacino is iconic. He stands out even next to a legendary De Niro performance and one of the greatest ensemble casts ever assembled. Immaculate lighting and framing of faces, cars, streets in the nighttime. The gunfire is deafening. Hunter and the Hunted are two sides of the same coin.

I like the idea of a modern civil war film that doesn't reference political parties or the specific divisions in today's politics. There are more interesting questions to ask other than how our present political situation might descend into civil war. It would have been great to explore the impacts of a civil war on regular people. Are there arguments or violence between neighbors and family members? How are refugees treated by other civilians? Do people generally have hope?
