Even with more dramatic fare, Cronenberg’s fascination shines through. I can see why the story of people who’s lives are inscribed onto their skin was appealing as the intersection of flesh and identity is his thing
Threatens to be more generic than it is but the forever cold and analytical approach of Cronenberg shines through in a slightly standard crime film. Has a bit more heart and empathy than his other works too
