  Highly entertaining, great action, great plot, good characters, brilliantc entral performance from Robert Pattinson. Full of anti-capitalist/fascist messaging which is always enjoyable. Despite that there was nothing really under the surface. But thats not a bad thing!
  (Probably Bong Joon Hos best, or atleast my favourite of his anyway)

  Shakespeare ran so Kurosawa could fly.

  About a year ago when I first started getting into movies I watched this film. It blew me away then and now with a deeper appreciation it blew me further. Truly one of the greatest films ever made, another one by Kurosawa.

  The Siege of the Lord Ichimonji's castle is probably the greatest sequence in cinema. Albeit my opinion is like the wind and I'm sure the next Kurosawa I watch will have another…

  Why are Mulholland Drive and Eraserhead so praised when Wild At Heart exists.

  I was not a Lynch fan in the slightest till this. Its a nihilistic, masochistic fever-dream road movie. Its got musical numbers, romance, heartbreak, betrayal and action. Dont think I forgot Laura Dern. Close to a perfect movie. Just finished and I cant wait to watch it again.
