Some incredible animation and visuals, some absolutely atrocious. As a fan of both anime and lotr this should’ve been a 5/5 but it fails to meet either mark as a good anime film or a good lotr film. Voice acting is great for the most part however, the story was predictable and the bad guy was wet. Also loads of just stupid moments like building a bridge that is taller than the walls of Helm’s Deep within arrow range yet nobody shot them. Plot was basically The Two Towers but worse.
