    The first time I watched this, there was one other guy in the cinema and he brought a fucking picnic. Like...a sandwich wrapped in foil and a thermos of coffee and what looked like a pretzel and he ate continuously throughout the entirety of The Irishman. He never stopped eating.

    I've watched this movie so many times now (it's become one of those movies that I'm perpetually rewatching in little chunks for the rest of my life) and every time I watch it I think about that guy and how much he ate.
