Dune: Part Two 2024
I can count the number of times on one hand in my lifetime where I was so absorbed in a film that I didn’t remember moving or breathing for considerable periods of time throughout this movie. Direction and editing played a big part in the amazing cadence, rhythm, and suspense of this epic movie. Although off the charts, this was not just sci-fi and digital effects and the result was amazing.
Really looking forward to seeing it a second and third time.

I can’t remember the last movie I watched where grown men around me squirmed like worms in their seats and couples left the movie to step outside to decide whether or not to come back in.
My daughter put it perfectly: although some of these movies have scares and jumps and cheap thrills, occasionally a movie comes along that reminds us why this genre exists.
And a perfect ending.
