i don’t know how to feel about this. i think im just not enough of a film nerd. but tarantino is, and you can tell.
obviously, the cinematography is gorgeous.
leo dicaprio and brad pitt are really good.

Attack the Block 2011
makes sense why this is one of the options for film studies.
fun, full of symbolism, socially conscious and funny. what more do you want out of a film? is also shot really quite well. the opening ten minutes does what every opening of every should do tbh. entice me in with some good ass shots, bit of foreshadowing and tell me what almost all the characters are about.
solid. like shaun of the dead with a message. and aliens.

cmon man
this is so worth a rewatch. it’s so fucking good man. incredible performances from everyone, especially ian mckellen. i love gandalf’s character so much, slightly flawed at points, but endearing and his speech to frodo in moria sets him up for his death. by that point he’s made a few mistakes that has put frodo and the fellowship in danger like trusting saruman and taking them through the mountains then moria, that his sacrifice to…Translated from by -
