  A formulaic family drama that felt refreshing due to Manikandan's terrific act and Somasundaran's performance along with Saanve's delightful support at the other ends. Film tries to deviate into various paths (that's how a man's life turns out to be) resulting in an unsettling way of storytelling at one point but as it approaches the end, it turns out to be the most heartwarming yet emotional family story coming full circle that we've seen after ages.   A typical formulaic entertainer that is hilarious throughout the first half due to Rao Ramesh's stellar and thunderous performance but drops down in the later half due to flat proceedings and weak third act. Must've looked convincing on a whole but the emotional connect was a big letdown, I usually love Trinadh's song placements but these were like complete show stoppers. Wouldn't say this is either bad or good film, but definitely had tons of potential to entertain and engage to the fullest. Underwhelming. Expected more. But can give it a try for Rao Ramesh exclusively.

  Riding on cameos for no reason and the artificial blend of mythology into a dystopian kind of setup provided with a completely gloomy plot and utter failed writing tho exhilarating here and there. This is how clueless #KALKI2898AD is. Could've established the world in a much better position but Nag Ashwin chose the other way.
  Highly Underwhelming is a very small statement. Blasphemous on a whole.

  Watchable only for SaNa's Hans Zimmer-esque background score and Amitabh, Anna Ben's delightful screen presence.

  Samuthirakani's bizarre execution, Trivikram's lousy and ignorant writing, Cheap technicalities
  #BroTheAvatar struggles with both entertainment and emotion just like VinodhayaSitham. If not for PawanKalyan's energetic presence, this would've been even more disastrous!
  Please make films with interest. Do not take audience for granted.
