Damn. That performance truely was worthy of more accolades. Quentin’s acting really does out shine the rest of the movie.

I like a happy ending, but I really feel the many destroyed ships and lost lives kinda take away from that feel good feeling. I’d be pulling Hanks in to my office a quick chat on Monday if he was one of my Captains.

Well. The neck-finger flick alone, gives this movie five stars.

A timeless hit.

The characters are still relatable today as they were when depicted. We laughed, gasped and were engrossed in the action.

The 4K restoration didn’t work for the film in my opinion. Too many bald caps that would not have been visible in 1954s version. I may rewatch with a different edit.

Still a lot of great action and the best review I heard tonight must be, “reminds me a lot of the Avengers”.

Enough said.
