Fear Street: 1666 2021
So well done! Read the books as a young adult back in the 90s and loved what they did here.
For 1666, I was excited to see how those responsible unleashed the evil curse. Super eerie vibe throughout this film and the torment the characters go through makes you empathize with the injustice judgment of the times.

So well done! Read the books as a young adult back in the 90s and loved what they did here.
For 1978, I was submerged into characters’ environment mostly because I love horror movies set at camp. I think this is because Friday the 13th left a major impression on my when I watched it as a child (6 yrs old - yup bad idea). Anyways, being in nature has such a beautiful calming effect on the mind. On the other hand, when nighttime hits, things get a lil eerie with the strange sounds and the darkness swallowing you whole.

The Dark and the Wicked 2020
This movie messed with my head. I submerged myself in the film by watching in the dark on a 55” OLED connected to 5.1 surround headphones. Turned it up all the way and had to turn it down because the noises in the movie were so creepy. Couldn’t sleep all night.

The Thing 1982
Saw this one for the first time back before “part 2” came out in 2011. Loved it! Still do. I dunno why. Maybe because ppl are in an isolated and sub-zero environment while the thing mimics each one of them. Such a cool concept and not corny at all for a movie made back in the early 80s.
