Man on the Moon 1999
wasn't too familiar with andy kaufman while watching "saturday night" last year but this kinda brought me full circle and deepened my appreciation for his work. i love his enigmatic style of comedy and jim's portrayal was awesome

A Real Pain 2024
went in blind and ended up loving this. from the gut punches, to the warmth of sharing a laugh with someone you love, i felt the weight of some of these scenes.
maybe it resonated with me more because jesse and kieran's relationship reminds me of someone, but overall, i think this movie does a great job of highlighting the different ways of handling pain and how we carry it with us.
perhaps i'm rating it too high, but i really felt this for some reason, and if it's not too on the nose, it just felt.. real..
