Heart Eyes 2025
This movie is trying to do the whole meta trope thing and it does decently at it. It feels predictable at times and while I understand that’s what they’re going for it can feel draggy. It plays out literally exactly as you’d expect and whether it be intentional or not it’s a little annoying. Luckily it doesn’t take it self seriously at all and this can help ease the sense of “oh we’re doing this again”.

-more of a pig man really
-characters are all fucking idiots
-I KNOW that mf had at least one if not several guns in the house

This movie does something I’ve been wanting to see again for a long time: ZOMBIES THAT COME OUT OF THE GROUND
With a unique method of inducing zombiehood as well as a refreshing take on the zombies themselves it’s nice to know we’re out of the 28 Days Later/Walking Dead phase. Zombie fatigue was BAD there for a while but perhaps we as a society are ready to return to the genre with new ideas.
