  There’s a lot of privileges that we’re granted as queers in the modern day. Every time we’re open with a lover in public, whenever we recite our pronouns in a circle, when we joke and call each other f*g, we’re only able to do so because of the people here.
  It irks me to see the word “mother” thrown out everywhere. I know it’s in good fun, but I can’t help but think about how these people really became mothers…
