Poor Things 2023
Man, Yorgos sure was looking for ANY excuse to get Emma Stone naked. A gorgeous but gratuitous film that ultimately aims to remind the audience that we do, indeed, live in a society. First act is extremely uncomfortable, especially when the woman with a child's brain furiously masturbates with an apple. Second act fairs better, then the third act introduces a new villain with 20 minutes of runtime left. Why did nobody tell him that she has the baby's brain?
