How is movie so fun to watch when it’s also a commentary about morality of scientific advancement, colonialism, political ideology, capitalism and religion?     It was hilarious!

Comedy horror genre is a tough one to maneuver.    It’s got to have strong comedy to work.   This missed the mark.   The death scenes were creative but it’s weird to hear an audience laugh at a disemboweled store clerk when it’s so realistic.    The tone was off or something.   It just wasn’t really scary or very funny or moderately as interesting as I had hoped it would be.    Especially with the Stephen King story to work from.

See it on the biggest screen you can.   It was a beautifully animated movie that I think is for everyone.   Zero words.   So take your old Italian grandma along with your 4 year old niece.
