The Brutalist 2024
1st half was absolutely sensational, beginning to end. 2nd half made you really feel for this man, slow burn spiral but it was definitely a reality to immigrants trying to reset. Amazing film. JK Simmons best act, the most energy I’ve seen from him. Felt like a trip down memory lane with how competitive I was in my teenage years. Definitely a film for anyone that has ever fought for a job in team sports or a role in theatre, or an orchestra. My heart was moved and ignited.
