  “Truthfully, Robin’s better than the girl of my dreams… She’s real.” 

  The, “oh, how I wish it was you,” trope will never cease to break my heart. However, it brings solace to remember that if you could love the wrong person so much, imagine how much you’ll love the right one.

  The autumn/summer metaphor beautifully expressed how your soulmate will come, they just might be an altered version of your expectations. But that version is ultimately better because then, they’ll be real.
