Dune: Part Two 2024
I loved it! Stunning visuals. Seriously the best looking film I’ve ever watched. As for the story, much more rich than Dune one. It raises serious questions about who’s right and wrong and who’s good and bad. The acting was great, and I loved Paul’s character arc and I give the movie 4 and a half stars.

My Neighbors the Yamadas 1999
This movie is wonderful! It is heartwarming to see this family just work and come together. Although, there is no plot. But that is this movies strong point. It is charming, and I think about certain scenes a lot. It is fun to see the different sides of these characters and who they truly are. Despite it not being a movie that you have to think about too much, and not having a plot, this is my most rewatched studio Ghibli film and possibly my favorite.

Godzilla Minus One 2023
It feels weird to ask people: “Have you seen the new Godzilla movie?” Because, at its core, this movie is not a Godzilla movie. It’s a post war movie about what it means to live. The main character, Koichi, is great and goes through an incredible arc. And the people he meets are also very likable, and all give something to the story. The acting is also amazing.

The Boy and the Heron 2023
This movie combines Miyazakis’ masterful animation and imagination with engaging characters. It is very fulfilling to see the lessons the main character learns through his journey and the people he meets portrayed through a grand and beautiful scale. I cannot stress enough how beautiful this movie is. Please watch it!
