This was an amazing movie about grief

Second watch, I saw this in high school and never really appreciated how masterfully put together. I really appreciate the themes of relationships and forgiveness.

It’s was a fun twist on horror I appreciated leaning into horror tropes but making it into a ritual/corporation.

Went into this film not reading into the hype but that being said I watched one trailer before and expected much more. Cage wasn’t as terrifying as the trailer made it out to be. Loved the cinematography, in fact I think it’s carried. I was able to guess the twist and also able to assume the ending pretty early on. I loved the shots and the atmosphere but story wise it left me wanting more.
