  Give me a crime pic set in Spain and I’m all in. This one takes an about an hour to get cracking, but cracking it gets. Doesn’t hurt that John Hurt is my favorite actor (although waiting for him to say more than a sentence at a time is painful), and Terrance Stamp is delightful as the enlightened hit. Also -  The jacket worn in the final 5 minutes of the movie is maybe the finest jacket I’ve ever seen. Truly a shame it isn’t featured more.

  Late contender for my favorite  movie of the year.A more political and drugged out The Commitments that never stopped  surprising me. Especially refreshing after the traditional music biopic A Complete Unknown.
