would have been a great movie to watch when it came out since i’d be a kid. I like that it acknowledges the critique of Batman’s philosophy but it doesn’t flesh out Batman’s thinking or justification much at all.

It would be false for me to say this not a movie with propaganda.
Despite this, I find that sound judgement, analysis, and ultimately, enjoyment can be received from watching this film. The film depicts an actual battle with Germanic forces and it is not difficult to see how this would be on the mind of many, becoming especially relevant, as they too would likely be engaging in battle as Nevsky’s soldiers were.
