Weirdly hadn’t seen this before, I thought it was pretty alright tbh.
I didn’t 100% understand why the whole legal battle had to happen but whatever, Richard Attenborough was a decent Santa, if not a little bit creepy.
Won’t be adding this one to my annual watches but it was okay.

Failure to Launch 2006
If you’re looking for a typical, easy going, Sunday afternoon rom com this is the one.
It was so unexpectedly good, I always hear jokes about it being shit but I actually really enjoyed it.
It, of course, had the exact same format as all your favourite Matthew McConaughey rom com so, if you like the wedding planner and how to lose a guy in 10 days, I recommend!

Really enjoyed the movie, felt pretty similar to a few other stories so I’m not sure that it was interesting enough to be retold. I think there are too many movies generally about how companies are taken over by someone super greedy and the founder/ harder worker gets taken for a ride (beanie bubble comes to mind).
It was good though, I thought Glen Howerton was great and Jay Baruchel played his part pretty well too. It was funny, music was good and it was pretty enjoyable overall.
