  Ah yes—sex, power, and money—the three primal desires. Anora’s character lacks substance or development until the very end, but maybe that’s the point.

  While I was half-expecting some Russian mobsters to settle things with a few bullets, the unexpected laughs caught me off guard in the best way. Wanted to see more of Ivan’s father though. He seemed like a chiller.

  Definitely a hard watch but Jesse Eisenberg made it a little easier. 

  Also props for the Chopin soundtrack. That also made it a little easier.
