I really do like the story of Macbeth. Studied it in school and probably the Shakespeare play I know the most. With this version, I thought it was good… and just good. The casting was fantastic and David Tennant was amazing, but the play itself felt very black and white - very language based. Not seeing Banquo’s ghost was a bit of a bummer and felt slightly robbed there. Overall, a good Macbeth performance.
A really fun, family film perfect for Christmas time. Massively enjoyed the relaxed tone of this adventure film, which was complimented very well by some British humour. It was well casted, and just a very good cinema experience overall. Haven’t see the first 2 films, maybe I’ll have to give them a viewing as they’re supposedly even better than this one. Really fun time in the theatres :)

The Fast and Furious franchise will never cease to amaze me. I didn’t think Fast X could beat its predecessor as being the worst, most ridiculous action film ever made. I nearly walked out on 3 occasions: when Dom recreated Indiana Jones’ boulder chase with a bomb, when John Cena jumped out of a plane in a kayak, and when Dom picked up a car on the bridge. Easily the worst film I’ve seen this year. Gutted to have to say it because Gru is the GOAT and I do enjoy the other films in the franchise a lot, but this one was just pure garbage.
