perfect casting and amazing acting (especially by chalamet, bordaro and norton) couldn't save a movie where nothing really happens and that glosses over so much while lingering on unimportant scenes. the movie needed to either fully commit to exploring dylan's relationship issues or fully commit to the music industry aspect but by trying to balance both neither was fully fleshed out. still i was blown away by tc's bob dylan impression, better than i could've anticipated. watch this movie for him and joan and pete
