This thought provoking tense thriller poses questions of religion, belief and the concept of control. Hugh grant delivers a phenomenal performance of a seemingly nice and gentle host while simultaneously keeping you uncomfortable from his dead smile to his almost confused way of speaking. The girls in the film have a sense of dread almost instantly but also curiosity as at any point they could have chosen to blitz attack hughs character but the questions he poses and the reality he promises keep the girls right on the edge as is the same for the viewers.

Crazy, Stupid, Love. 2011
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A great comedy about love, the loss of love and the journey of returning to a place of self acceptance. The character who cares about love at first sight transforms into a man of lust ego and masculinity only to find that lust doesnt bring the meaning he thought. While the natural masculine player character does the same in reverse. Not to mention an unironic great plot twist that creates a laugh fest of a third act.
