missing a lot of connective tissue and nuance! You would think that letting nazism run wild would be stakey but this is limp. I question the ethics of that final scene too with the house.

Action well staged and Nic Hoult has a great body and a fuckass haircut.

Loved when Jonathan Hyde went all cunty evil gay. Great sets and lighting!

Sebastian Stan is so fantastic in this and I love him so much and crazy that he played such a CUNT with so much empathy at the beginning. Incredible performance, completely owned it. Boy do these dudes SUCK.

Loved the aesthetic - really great camera work and design

Solid 3 stars for me. Incredible craft on display and the cinematography and shot choices were delicious, crazy cool world building…  but missing a little edge. Could have been scarier and more… gnarly. When Lily-Rose’s eyes rolled back inside her head we were cooking, more of that!!!. Why did Nosferatu have a village people style gay as f moustache lol

Edit: ok Listened to a pod with Eggers and he said that the moustache was because Orlock was a 19th century nobleman and he dares you to find a nobleman without a moustache!! Love a well researched director!
