The tried to remake citizen Kane.

I do like that they didn’t just demonise trump from the get go. They showed how he became an arsehole alongside his toxic family, mentors, and industry.

It could do with being an hour longer or even a miniseries, felt like a lot of scenes were cut, it’s building up to his hotel the whole time and then there’s just one scene 20 mins before the end saying “oh yeah he also got the hotel”  and they didn’t really show his downfall much.

Love that it was filmed on 35mil, it acrually suited this film

The first hour felt like a nothing sandwich. Anora had like 0 lines, seems like they used her character and actress cause she’s attractive and it’ll get people to watch it.

The second half of the film was much better, gained a lot more momentum and didn’t just feel like a compilation of events, it’s a shame it took an hour to get there. I do feel that her being a stripper contributes very little to the story, and got the vibe they just filled the first half with sex scenes because it fills seats and not because it drove the story.

James is the most realistically written British guy in film history.

Kieran Culkin is becoming typecast, as he should, he plays his succession character perfectly. Jesse Eisenberg has always been typecast, same story.

Its incredible to see a film that reflects the human condition so well. Benji is the side of us that wants to speak what we feel, with unfiltered emotion. And David is the side of us that follows social expectations and standards, despite it causing internal conflict.…

Watching this film and knowing it was made on such a small budget, makes me think that I too can be like Tarantino and write parts for myself to be racist in!
