ehh. as someone who got seriously hyperfixated on the og series, the main thing that appealed to me was the community— the characters, their quirks and complexities, and how they interacted with each other, as well as the gloomy charm of the town itself. when the cast is separated and many characters aren’t featured at all (I MISS HARRY), it loses its appeal for me. i found the lore and supernatural elements fascinating, and i’m sure that’s what many people’s favorite part of tp is, that’s just not my particular cup of tea bc i’m stupid and i love found family <3
