« And even though there might be 600,000 words in the human language, the world still struggles to find the right ones when someone you love is gone. »

    Cried. Cried again. And again.

This feels personal, this movie feels very personal. It’s our journey with Bridget, our journey through the grief of Mark Darcy. Of her Mark. Of our Mark.
A deep and true insight of how to live and stop surviving.
Survive but not forget. Happy again, but never…

  • A Real Pain

    A Real Pain

    ★★★★½

    We’re all suffering,
Suffering because of our past and for our future.
Suffering for our loved ones and for ourselves.
For what we lost and what we didn’t win.
For what should’ve and what could’ve happened.
We’re all suffering, differently but at the same level of importance.

Every pain is real, but feeling pain is probably better than feeling nothing at all. Maybe the real pain is indifference and emptiness.

Slap me to make me feel alive, but don’t ignore me. Do I exist if I don’t feel pain?

« We numb ourselves to avoid thinking about our impact. »

« New lovers are nervous and tender, but smash everything. For the heart is an organ of fire. »
    -Almásy-

These past days, I couldn’t stop thinking about the English Patient. The last time I watched it was more than three years ago, and it’s like my mind was begging to go back to the Sahara. To where I discovered my hopeless and passionate side. To the roots of who I am today.

Three years ago, I didn’t understand completely this love…

    Bridget Jones's Diary

    ★★★★★

It’s my third time seeing it in two years.
I thought that it would be a good idea to rewatch it just before discovering the last one…

Don’t ask me what happened, maybe I was tired, or not in the mood, or maybe I just finally started my own Bridget Jones life.
That’s probably why I cried for two hours straight, maybe I should start a diary…
And while I’m waiting for the rude English man wearing an ugly sweater to arrive in my life, I’ll listen to All By Myself.

« Have you ever dreamt of a better version of yourself? »

    Wow.

I was impatiently waiting to finally see The Substance since The Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, I followed the whole promotion of the movie.
It was clearly in my top 3 most waited movie of 2024.

I’m once again not disappointed, you know what ? I’m going to be honest, it was one of the most waited movie, and it’s one of the best.

    The visuals…
