I liked this a bit more than I expected to. It was fun and silly at points and I love when there’s a relationship plot that starts out nice and doesn’t turn out to be horrible.
Got lots of Okja vibes from it which I liked, and the cast were great. Robert Pattinson cementing himself as the best of the 2000s teen movie alumni, and another excellent camp villain performance from Mark Ruffalo.
I didn’t love all of it but I did enjoy it and would probs watch again.

I really liked how Ivan didn’t end up being her Prince Charming, and we got to be let down by him with Anora as she realised that was what was happening. I liked the silly bits a lot and I kept expecting it to get nasty, then it just didn’t. Absolutely loved this! Beautifully lit, charming and heartfelt and funny at times. Loved the music too. I really liked the story in general, didn’t take any turns I didn’t like and I loved the relationships between the characters. The father/daughter relationship was especially touching. I love a relatable and occasionally mundane vampire story and I loved the ending to this.
