I was really surprised by how much I liked this. Even with the atypical time line storytelling, the majority of the plot was pretty standard and not particularly interesting on its own. But Andrew and Florence just completely soaked in everything about this movie and made it a great deal better than it would have likely been in anyone else's hands.

Their performance is made this feel so real, a step above the typical Slice of Life drama. Of course I cried a few times, not just because of one of the main subject matter but just the plain realistic but amazing performances by the 2.

Solid film, although it definitely feels more like an early 2000s movie than a 2010s movie. There were some editing and visual choices that felt pretty dated. I didn't care much for urban as dread in the opening sequence, but he grew on me and Olivia was good as well. Lena was also good in her role, although it was mostly from a cartoonish villain point of view

Some really great action scenes. Wasn't really feeling the overall plot/story but it's fine.

Beautiful visual style, great (slight) departure from the current Gen of superhero movies.
