The lasting impact of one single act!
Contact Hours is an examination of student suicide and how it impacts the community.
The script centres on a university janitor dealing with the aftermath of the tragedy. Through his interactions with students, the story reveals waves of emotional consequences. There’s a real sense of intimacy to how the grief unravels. Repeated visual cues of closed doors, lost keys and obscured faces; I felt close to this story and the sheer weight of such loss. A fantastic showcase of emotional intuition. Can’t wait to see where it goes next !
