Wolf Children 2012
I've watched this movie an insane amount of time and it still hits, you know. I considered it to be my favourite animated movie for years and sometimes I would cry when my family watched it without me.
The designs are simple yet so gorgeous, the beauty of the world is enhanced throughout the entire movie it's very poetic. It also deals with internal conflicts and gives brilliant images which are kind of free to translate/interpret.
The comments with furry jokes are a little too much, when you just understand and realize that it literally is not about that.
