Having tremendous difficulty actually landing on how I feel about this movie. The characterization of Anora in the last two scenes felt almost like two different rug pulls for me. The first making me question if I actually wasn’t meant to sympathize with her and the second making me question where Baker’s heart was at in all of this.
A tremendously good time up until then?
Fully leaning forward in my chair whenever Hopkins narrates before he finally, ecstatically arrives on screen. What a delight. Almost matched by my beloved Quincey.
