Beetlejuice 1988
I'm not huge into Tim Burton, but this might be my favorite of his. It's fun and silly while keeping the usual weird and creepy. The claymation and animation are honestly so charming and creative. CGI could never. The story doesn't flow perfectly, but the premise is great. A bio-exorcist: getting rid of the living people in the ghosts' lives! I thought there would be more screen time for Beetlejuice. Michael Keaton is so wacky and wild, I would have liked to see even more. Also shout out to the sand worms... in both Dune and Beetlejuice? Good for them.

The Iron Claw 2023
I was really looking forward to this, and the only thing I knew about it was that something sad would happen. Yikes! So sad.
Unfortunately I felt like a lot of the dialogue was so dry. I can't put my finger on why it felt dull. The montages felt muddled, and there were random shots that seemed misplaced.
That said, the brothers were all so likeable. (The parents were insufferable.) I'm glad I now know about Kevin, and I hope his pillow is always cold on both sides and his pancakes are always fluffy.
