In another universe (though it should have been this one), The Last Dance is a Golden Age musical. And more bewildering, it would have had the music from Joker: Folie à Deux and would have done it better! Seeing Venom as a stand-in Ginger Rogers teaching Eddie through song, dance, and symbiotic jazz hands to embrace his destiny as Marvel’s Gene Kelly? Damn. One can wish.

Guy: You have seen the other two, right?
Girl: Two?!
Guy: Well, the name of the movie is “Creed III.”
Girl: That’s what those lines mean?
Guy: Roman numerals, yeah.
Girl: What are those?
