Really interesting as a 'sequel' to Boys State, especially highlighting the difference between the two camps and how much of the girls' experience is just them being allowed to 'play' at politics rather than genuinely participating.

Absolutely devastating. Ito's unflinching portrayal of her emotional journey as she investigates her own sexual assault - is astounding on multiple levels. There were multiple moments that got to me, not least when Ito silently cries after hearing her case will not be reopened and when describing how being supported by senior female journalists felt like being 'covered in blanlets'.
