I quite enjoyed this movie, especially its moral dilemma. The movie begins with two strange men meeting each other on the train. They begin a conversation in which Bruno proposes a murder swap in which he will be Guy's unfaithful wife and Guy will kill Bruno's father. Guy believed it was just a joke but Bruno took it seriously. Bruno does his part of the proposal and kills Guy's wife and pressures Guy to kill his father but he refuses.…

I enjoyed this movie because it explores themes of racism and power during the 1960s. The movie begins with the murder of Philip Colbert in Sparta, Mississippi. Police Chief Bill Gillespie orders his officers to search for any suspicious individuals in the area. A Black man named Virgil Tibbs is found and arrested for the murder.
