  the main take away of the movie is not Mariah Carey. it's precious, her story and her resilience. throughout the movie you could see her making choices: going to school, keeping on trying, leaving that house with her baby, not going back to her mother, trying and trying and trying. and those things are hard, really hard.
  to all the precious girls trying to learn how to be a woman and doing their best.
  to all the precious girls that overcome and overcome and despite falling back and feeling like they are falling, their eyes are still set ahead.
  to all the precious girls that survive
