holy shit this was so disturbing
i think this movie has some of the best cinematography/angles i've seen
i think some of the foreshadowing is a bit on the nose
i think the music for the pump it up stuff is pretty generic
but the sound design and body horror is soooooo good
ending kinda sold but the setup was incredible

the style of the movie was lowkey so unserious like "here's margot robbie in a bubble bath to explain all this finance jargon" and they addressed like stuff that didn't really happen. i hella fw that style it's lwk like a yt video.
i think the "ppl just blame it on immigrants & poor ppl" is such a powerful line and steve carrell's hopelessness just makes me feel hopeless too. of course it's a movie and it's biased so like i might read some articles and come back and change what i think but that was a solid movie fs.
