Movies: Now More Than Ever.
45 minutes of a terrible adaptation of A Star is Born, but thankfully John Carney locks in for the last hour.
My first reactions, as texted to Chris Wei:
As good as the first one, if not better. Strains a bit early under the weight of a more de-centered narrative, but the third act is amazing. The ending is, again, less of an ending and more of a To Be Continued. But it is certainly a much more epic and satisfying ending than the first.
Love how they adapted it. All of the changes are for the benefit of the movie.…
